Even though Moon Joo Ran grew up in a wealthy family, she chose to be a housewife rather than an ambitious wife. She is the perfect housewife who is married to Park Jae-ho, a perfectionist doctor. Everything in her life seems so perfect that many on the outside envy her. Her perfectly crafted life gets shaken when a foul smell hits her from her garden. It is the smell of a corpse! It’s not her doing, meaning the only other person who could be responsible is her husband. Can you ever say you truly know someone? All this is happening while Chu Sang Eun is at Moon Joo Ran’s home. They both dig up the secret that lies beneath the ground.
Chu Sang Eun has an entirely different existence than Moon Joo Ran. She grew up in a low-income family and now struggles financially. Chu Sang Eun and her abusive husband, Kim Yun Beom, live in a run-down rented flat. Kim Yun Beom works for a pharmaceutical firm. She receives a phone call one day informing her that Kim Yun Beom has died.
