Synopsis: 

A Model Family is a story about a professor Park Dong-Ha (Jung Woo) who is married to Kang Eun-Ju (Yoon Jin-Seo). They live as an ordinary family with one son. Park Dong-Ha’s son needs surgery, but the family is experiencing bankruptcy. Desperate for money, Park Dong-Ha steals money from an abandoned car. This introduces his involvement with a bloodthirsty drug ring. He begins to run dangerous missions as a drug courier. Kang Eun-Ju has a secret that nobody knows about. Detective Kang Joo-Hyun (Park Ji-Yeon), who is the leader of an anti-drug crime team, investigates Park Dong-Ha and Ma Kwang-Chul.
