Synopsis
Jeong Ji-an is a quiet university student, orphaned at a young age and raised by her enigmatic uncle, Jeong Jin-man. Her life has always been tinged with a sense of mystery—her uncle’s strict routines, secretive demeanor, and the secluded home he built for them after taking her in. When Jin-man suddenly dies under suspicious circumstances, Ji-an returns to their childhood estate to settle his affairs. But what she uncovers is far beyond anything she could’ve imagined.
Her uncle had been running a covert online marketplace—one that catered exclusively to professional killers, arms dealers, and mercenaries. As news of Jin-man’s death spreads, Ji-an becomes the target of countless trained assassins seeking to erase loose ends and seize control of the business. Trapped in a house rigged with weapons, surveillance systems, and escape routes, Ji-an is forced to rely on the skills her uncle secretly taught her as a child—skills she never fully understood until now.
As she fights for survival, flashbacks to her childhood begin to reveal the extent of her uncle’s double life and the brutal world he tried to protect her from. With every episode, Ji-an uncovers a deeper layer of betrayal and truth, questioning not only who she can trust but who she truly is.
A Shop for Killers is a visceral coming-of-age story wrapped in a pulse-pounding thriller, where the past and present collide in deadly, unexpected ways. It’s not just about survival—it’s about reclaiming a life built on lies and emerging stronger from the ashes.
